Florida Trip – Day 6 – Left Disney & Stopped in Georgia for a Surprise

Today’s video is day 6 of our 2,000 mile road trip to Disney World and back.

Today we left Orlando, Florida after our amazing vacation at Walt Disney World, spending a day in the Epcot Center and a day in the Magic Kingdom and we head up to Lori’s parent’s home outside Atlanta, Georgia for a long overdue surprise on the Memaw and Bapaw. We spend the night catching up with them. Lori takes a moment to give Anna lessons on how to use a rotary phone and I crash on the chair. Boy this trip has been a real event!

MAGIC KINGDOM!!!!! WooHoo! What an amazing day. We went to the Magic Kingdom of Walt Disney World and had the time of our lives. We rode the rides, saw Dumbo, Ariel, Marie (from Aristocats), Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Minnie Mouse and so much more. To say this day was magical was an understatement. We spent the entire day there and closed the park after the light show and fireworks.

Some of our favorite attractions were, Peter Pans ride, Goofy’s Roller Coaster, Dumbo, Aladdin’s Carpet Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, and we enjoyed the Tiki Room as well as Haunted Mansion. So much to do and so little time. We are so grateful to the staff and the folks that make this park run.

Tomorrow we are leaving Georgia and heading back to North Carolina!!!! So, be sure to journey with us!
